Change setpoint mode

Currently I’m using the thermostat card to control the zones in my Evohome system. It works but when I change the temperature this will become a permanent setpoint change.

What I would like is that this setpoint change is removed after the next scheduled setpoint change so the manual override is temporarily and not permanent.

If I’m right this can be done by changing the setpoint mode from the current used PermanentOverride to TemporaryOverride. The problem is that I don’t know how or where to change this. It looks like it’s not possible in the thermostat card, but can’t find another card that makes this possible.

So the question is who knows a solution for this?

That is specific to the integration / device you are using.

I’m using the Ramses RF integration.

As a partial work around I created a timed automation to set the thermostat mode to none. Not ideal but at least meant my thermostats reverted to their lower settings overnight when somebody had overriden them. If you don’t have complex Evohome schedules I guess you could create the automations to trigger just before the Evohome schedule changes. I have 14 thermostats with very different schedules so not a realistic option for me!
