Change zbt-1 from thread to zigbee

i’m running HA on a raspberry and my zbt-1 is running as thread-device.
i wanted to add my conbee II but failed since i can’t find my USB hardware. i looked under system / hardware but there are no entries for usb.

so i thought i will get an zbt-2 anyway and switch the zbt-1 to zigbee. but also my zbt-1 is nowhere to be found (thread / matter did run well until i deleted the integrations)

what am i doing wrong? i found a forum entry that said i should see the zbt-1 under integrations, but i don’t … it is explained here https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/articles/31373831675933-Switching-from-Thread-to-Zigbee-support-on-Home-Assistant-Connect-ZBT-1

I see you already check system > hardware

also maybe reboot the host

if it doesn’t show up under all hardware, then the pi can’t see it, try a different usb port and/or cable if you are using one.

you also may want to read through @ https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/categories/24734620813469 for other troubleshooting info

normally, supported devices will be automatically detected and show up in the device/integrations page.

if you click the ‘all hardware’ link, you can search for usb or whatever and see devices linked to your search term

once you can see your device somewhere in HA, the gear icon will let you switch between zigbee/thread mode firmware.

if for some reason the firmware on the device got corrupted, you can update it from a pc via @ https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/articles/31321042429597-Reinstalling-the-firmware-using-the-Open-Home-Foundation-Toolbox

the thing is: THREAD works fine !

i set it up a year ago and it works ever since.
but i can’t see the device, and my conbee2 and a zwave stick can’t be setup.

i searched through the hardware list, no usb device, no entry for tty or searching for by* (was recommended for zigbee setup)

so there can’t be a firmware issue, i tried every usb port, have a 30cm cable as recommended. the zbt-1 works fine, i just can’t change anything or see it.

i then removed all matter integrations and add-ons, now of course my matter devices do not work anymore …

i guess i will take a new sd-card and try a new installation.

i made a fresh install and it is the same. something is missing.

i made a fresh install on an older raspi. it works fine. i guess the usb-ports of my raspi 4 are shot.
