I built an unofficial Home Assistant custom integration for the CHASING Hydro4 pool robot (PoolMate / CHASING GO3 cloud account).

What it does

  • Vacuum entity: start / pause / stop / retrieve

  • Cleaning program, zone, pool shape, light strip, duration

  • Water temperature + task remaining sensors

  • Cloud Online diagnostic (uses REST presence so stale MQTT retained messages don’t fake “online”)

  • Auto session refresh when the phone app steals the login

Install (HACS)

  1. HACS → Integrations → Custom repositories

  2. Add: https://github.com/seanmoro/ha-chasing-pool

  3. Install CHASING Pool Robot, restart HA, then add the integration and sign in with your CHASING account

Caveats

  • Unofficial / reverse-engineered — not affiliated with CHASING

  • North America cloud endpoints only for now

  • CHASING allows one cloud session; HA and the phone app kick each other

  • Robot must be truly cloud-online for HA control (Wi-Fi alone isn’t enough)
