Cheapest best smart plug that works in the UK?

Whats the absolute cheapest smart plug that you can get in the UK that works with HA and google home? (ha isnt linked to my google homes, so i need something that natively (or with some tweaking) works with both.)

On amazon there are many plugs that claim to work with google home for around £10-11 and i think thats reasonable, compared to the more expensive ones like the TP-Link ones. But im assuming that those generic ones wont work with HA.

There is also the Sonoff S20, which works with both HA and google, but not at the same time, as after its flashed to work with HA, i lose google home support unless i link HA to google somehow.

Are there any other options?

Thanks

I think you are looking for an all in one setup, but I really like the S20, so much so, I have 4 of them around the house. Once flashed, they are super simple to setup in HA, I dont have a google home unfortunately, but it is on my list of things to get, once I do, it will be integrated with HA to control everything in the house.

The reason I like the S20 though, its super simple to add other things to the plugs as well, I did a little write up about it, Adding temperature / humidity sensor to Sonoff S20 socket and I have since also linked in a PIR motion sensor to my bedroom plug, so now have my hue lights in the on a motion sensor. Cost £1.53 for the sensor, and a couple of £ for the 3.5mm cable and jack socket.

So for expand-ability, I would suggest the S20, but as above, not quite sure it will fit your bill.

actually ive just managed to get home assistant linked to google home i think… so i might consider the sonoff products and flash them.

Does Google have IFTT support? I’ve never looked so sorry if that’s a really stupid question.

I used the S20’s for months before I flashed them and just used IFTT. (but in the end, I got fed up with IFTT, lag was massive & not reliable)

yeah i think it does…
