Cheapest PTZ Camera with Home Assistant + Frigate + ONVIF/RTSP Support?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the cheapest possible indoor PTZ camera that works well with Home Assistant.

My requirements are:

  • PTZ (pan/tilt) control directly from Home Assistant
  • RTSP and/or ONVIF support
  • Works with Frigate for recording and object detection
  • Two-way audio (preferred, but not mandatory)
  • Local streaming (preferably without relying on a cloud service)
  • Reliable enough to use in Home Assistant automations (move the camera to presets, track events, etc.)

I'm happy to buy from AliExpress or use a generic/OEM camera if it works well.

What's the cheapest model you've personally tested that supports all of this? Links or model numbers would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using cheap Iegeek cameras with Frigate for about 4 years now, been faultless using the RTSP streams, I have 3 of them. The ones I have don't do PTZ but I guess they do one that does, how that will work with Frigate I can't say but the cameras are well built and just work.

I bought mine when they were end of production and were heavily discounted.
