i use a light with a motion sensor in the garden. Old fashioned electrical way. I replaced the bulb with a “smart” Zigbee bulb (i think its osram or ledvance) so i can register in home assistant, if the lights goes on or off. My zigbee network is driven by raspi 4 and deconz usb stick, which works great.
the problem is: if this light goes off after about 1 minute, in home assistant it stays in status “on” for about 7 minutes until home assistant gets the status “unavailable”.
It is okay, that the status is unavailable, i just need it faster.
is there any way to check the status faster? in an automation i tried the service “homeassistant.update_entity” but that makes no difference.
