Chlorine level sensor

For our water system in the house, we have chlorine to remove sulfur from the water. There’s a small pump that inject some chlorine into the water and then removes it afterward.

The chlorine is stored in a big jub we have to change when it gets low, but it is not that often, so it is super easy to forget about it.

I would like to figure out a way to sense when it is close to empty. Either a weight sensor of some sort or a level sensor, but since this is a pretty corrosive product, not sure most sensor would react well inside the jug.

I am complete neewb in terms of electronics, so ideally if you have any ideas of off the shelf sensor I could use it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

What does jug sit on?
How is it mounted?

Pressure sensor measuring weight.

Doesn’t need detail? Just need measurements for 1/4 points — like full, 3/4, 1/2, 1/4 — or 1/5 points.

This would be external and unaffected by gas/chemical

If it’s not huge tank, weight sensor might be good option. With plastic tank “Non-Contact Liquid Level Sensor” could be used. Something like this:

By the way, has chlorine some advantages compared to H2O2?
