After I figured out how to to use ESPHome's Bluetooth proxy I really got into connecting all my BLE stuff to Home Assistant, but when I wanted to connect a Nintendo Switch controller it turned out ESPHome did not support classic Bluetooth, which those controllers spoke.
So I made a custom component, along with documentation and examples, for everyone to enjoy. Now I can use it to control all sorts of other things!
