I have 7 z-wave thermostats connected to HA and I read the current and target temperatures from them
However, target temperatures are sometimes showing non-senses like 35°C when the real target is 21°C, etc
I am using HA Scheduler for updating the target temperatures through the days, so I do not know, where are those non-sense temperatures coming from (originally it was managed by scenes in z-wave Vera, but I deleted them and I never had target temperature so high anyway)
It’s hard to understand what you are asking. Are you saying when you look at the attributes that the target temp is correct but displayed incorrectly on your dashboard or is the device itself reporting incorrect target temperatures that is also reflected on your dashboard?
Also what thermostat is it? That may help folks to understand if you have a device that might need some adjustments made to it (i.e., the Honeywell T6 thermostat can go a little off the rails but you can fix it with some automations).
When I look to Vera application, the target temperatures are correct. But the entity created by the template above sometimes reports something else - sometimes +cca 2 °C, but sometimes even + 15°C (35 °C is maximum)
I tried several templates set ups, but those were not working at all - this one works (also ‘temperature’ seems to be correct), but somehow sending non-sense numbers…
Thank you alot, @123 Taras. When I read the log, there is nothing changing the target temperatures…
What comes to my mind is to make an automation that will control the target temperature and if any difference is found, it will update the target temperature to the one from the scheduler.
Can you please direct me with the syntax to set the teplota_koupelna_target from the attached schedule?
