I use dwain dashboard entegration. my problem is that I use various climate entities. Here I do not have any problems with some of my devices. But I have problems with some. I guess the target temperature I marked in the Area section is visible or not according to the hvac_action value.
In the climate devices I have problems with, when I set a value below the ambient temperature, it disappears from the display. But when I turn it off, the target temperature appears again. I also shared the table about the values of my climate devices. Probably, there is a confusion because the hvac_action value is off when I turn it off.
If it is according to the hvac_action value as I think, how can I fix this?
Isn’t it supposed to be like this? My target temperature should be visible when the device is heating, Am I thinking wrong? What should I do about this? How can it be fixed? I ask for your help.
You can try the following area card which looks quite similar but with some additional options. As far as I know DD will not be maintained anymore. So I changed to the below cards recently.
I really liked the ‘Area card’. But I have a few constructive requests. I wish we could remove the frames (I marked them in red)
and change the places of the badges in this area card settings. For example, the badges of the switches with Mediaplayer.
I would like to be able to change the icons of these badges and all the icons in the status card.
Also, my last question, why are the blind-cover devices shown in a separate column? It would look better if it was under the other entity. (I marked them in yellow )
But both of them look great. I started designing the dashboard, I hope we can make it much better together
I am not the maintainer of this card, only a user. But maybe you can try Theme “V2”, this looks a little bit different to “V1”. Maybe this one is more satisfying.
