I’m currently trying to use Cloudflare with my Home Assistant setup.
Previously, I used DuckDNS, which worked great, but instead of paying for a public IP from my mobile operator, I decided to pay for my own domain instead, and use the Cloudflared add-on!
Everything works great once it’s running, but I’m having an issue whenever I need to reboot or restart my Home Assistant system. The Cloudflared add-on tries to recreate a CNAME record in Cloudflare, and since it already exists, the process fails and the add-on stops.
If I manually deletes the existing record from Cloudfllare and restart the Cloudflared plugin everything works again.
My domain name includes IDN (non-ASCII) characters. Do you think that could be related to the issue?
Has anyone experienced something similar or found a workaround?
