CM5 with Yellow unable to power on

Trying to get a CM5 lite installed with HA yellow and M2 drive

When using POE D4 will flash red, D3 flash very briefly green and a coil whine is heard. This will repeat itself every 2 seconds. After troubleshooting this the switch can only provide type 1 POE while it seems type 2 is required. The switch indicates no active POE device on the port.

When the unit is powered by 12V DC D4 flashes 1 time red and never again until the power is removed and reconnected.

When the jumper is set to USB the computer recognizes nothing, when the jumper is set to UART I do get a device CP2102N USB to UART bridge controller but no driver for it.

At this point I’m starting to think the CM5 is DOA, any tips?

While this is not mentioned anywhere in the online documentation, the sticker on the bottem of the HA yellow also indicates 802.3af (PoE type 1)

Found the issue, i used the screws before reading you shouldnt with the CM5 but i didnt use force nor saw any damage.

After checking what kind of damage the screws can do I saw my problem, there should be 3 black resistors but the 3th one is completly gone.

I dont have the tools or knowledge to solder a new one on so it seems this CM5 is having an early dead. Will hold on to it, perhaps someone close can fix it and reuse it.
