Voices for Piper are kind of hard to find. I’ve been doing a lot of searching and I thought I’d share some links I’ve found to working voices. These are all English.
Share what you’ve found if you want.

Does anyone know of a piper voice sets that sounds similar to siri?

I’ll love to make the HA announcements on my homepods sound closer to siri’s responses.

It would be pretty easy to generate clean training data, so it’d be a good project.

I got it working; just had to adjust the dataset in the JSON file to match the filename: changed from “en_US-fedcomp_2429” to “en_US-fedcomp-medium”.

I also adjusted the length_scale to 1.1 to try and slow the voice down a little.

Hey, I’m using the Commander Data voice, thanks for making it.

I can’t get it working on the Piper add-on (App), but it works on my satellite devices. It’s in /share/piper/ like it’s supposed to be. I did rename both files so that the voice name was more legible in the list, but I made sure to keep them matching. Even with the renamed files, It works on the sattelite. But I can’t set it as the default piper voice. Any ideas?

Also, you should do Majel Barrett’s voice or the DS9 Computer voice next.

I would love to get a good voice of Eddie, the Heart of Gold’s AI from Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Thomas Lennon nailed it IMO.
