Voices for Piper are kind of hard to find. I’ve been doing a lot of searching and I thought I’d share some links I’ve found to working voices. These are all English.

Does anyone know of a piper voice sets that sounds similar to siri?

I’ll love to make the HA announcements on my homepods sound closer to siri’s responses.

It would be pretty easy to generate clean training data, so it’d be a good project.

I got it working; just had to adjust the dataset in the JSON file to match the filename: changed from “en_US-fedcomp_2429” to “en_US-fedcomp-medium”.

I also adjusted the length_scale to 1.1 to try and slow the voice down a little.
