Was your ipad a proxy or something else?
You used the iPad to improv the proxy?
Improv is not being a proxy as far as I understand it.
My wife has an iPhone 14 pro, I have a Galaxy S21+
We both have the companion App installed and updated.
I have 2 HA instances.
Here’s the issue: When I connect (link) my wife’s app to both HA instances, none of the instances could correctly identify her whereabouts. They either failed completely to detect her at Home and said Away all the time, or they randomly flipped between the two for a while before returning to permanently Away status.
When I deleted the second HA instance from her companion App, that instance obviously now just says “unavailable” while the other suddenly behaves correctly and reports her status accurately in real time.
I do not have these problems on my Galaxy at all. It’s been rock stable all along, reporting correctly to both HA instances.
The strange thing is that her iPhone companion App worked correctly for a long time initially until one day an update of the App broke it. Regretfully I do not recall which version it was.
We have of course tried to uninstall and reinstall the app on her iPhone, but to no avail.

Why my samsung watch galaxy 7 ultra is telling me that maybe the latest update to the home assistant app wil not work anymore on my watch?

I have a watch 5 and do not see any of that and have no issues.
That's very strange, i hope the developer will read this and tell his opinions....
I know Samsung flaged our app some time ago as unstable because of some crashes that has been fixed recently. That might be why you see this warning.
Thanks, but i can see also that Assist doesn't work anymore on my galaxy, so i think there is more than Samsung flags....
Galaxy is still Samsung.
