I’ve enabled the Network sensors on my Android Companion app, and all of them update instantly as advertised except the IPv6 address sensor. This only updates when I open the app on my phone and navigate to Settings>Companion App>Manage Sensors> and then click on the IPv6 sensor itself. Then it immediately updates.
I’ve granted all of the necessary permissions to the app (Background Data and access, no battery optimizations, etc). I’ve also tried sending the “command_update_sensors” message to the phone from Home Assistant and the sensor still won’t update.
This feature is important to me. I have an automation that is supposed to send that address to my Cloudflare API every time it changes to update a firewall rule that gives my phone access to my self-hosted app when I’m out of my home network. I’d appreciate any and all suggestions.
Thank you
