This just started happening right now and I don’t understand why. It seems it only happens under one circumstance though. When I check my devices on the app and click on the automation that they’re tied to, instead of just taking me to the automation section in the app it opens up HA on my chrome browser instead.
The only thing I’ve done today is update to 2025.3. I haven’t gone into the settings to make any changes as far as I know. I can’t imagine this was always the case and I just never discovered it until now. But if it isn’t then does anybody know what’s going on and how I can fix this?
I tested it on my older Android phone. At first it worked normally, then I got a message saying new frontend or whatever. When I clicked on it and checked the automation thing again, I now get the same problem.
I thought maybe it was just my current phone. But now it’s my older phone too. I’m so confused.
Anyways, although you can already imagine it I’m just going to post it anyways. This is what I’m seeing. It transitions from the app to chrome instead of just staying in the app and I hate it lol.
The Android version doesn’t look like that. I’m also not seeing the top 2 options from the image you posted. I’m not seeing anything about opening links.
On app 2025.1.2-full with Android 13 (Motorola) i do not have this issue.
From Device → Automations tapping the automation keeps me in the app (automations section)
Tho this is on 2025.2 still, will test this when 2025.3.1 releases
Yup upgraded last night. Also some of my dead zigbee sensors came back alive after the update which was pretty exciting but are dead again this morning. Not that these are related just another observation
I have exactly the same problem. Are their more people with this issue?
Android 14 here.
Just upgraded now from 2025.3.1 to 2025.3.2 and still have the issue.
