Compiling a file in ESPHome, causes Home Assistant to Reboot

When I try to compile a file, in ESPHome, my Home Assistant reboots. ESPHome was working fine, before the HA 2022.2. Even after the “Notice”, to change from the “Github Repo” to the “HA Add-On Repo”. Both HA & ESPHome, are up-to-date.
But, sometime after updating to Home Assistant 2022.2.?, is when compiling ANY of my ESPHome files, started the rebooting issue, (see pic). I have also uninstalled ESPHome, rebooted the whole system, then re-installed ESPHome.

There was an API update as a patch to 2022.2. Of course you already knew that

More Info, Please? I’m at HA 2022.4.1 and ESPHome 2022.3.2

I misread and assumed you were running 2022.2.0 and had issues. 2022.2.6 updated the esphome api library.

I do not use ESPHome but since you did not indicate doing any research I looked quickly through the release notes.

I read every release note that came with release, as they come out. Never Assume.

Are you hosing HA on a raspberry pi? This same issue happened with me earlier and the culprit was the low memory of the pi. I ended up compiling all my ESPHome programs on a different machine and updating using over-the-air methods.

i wrongly assumed you would have provided the information needed to assist.

Sorry for my mistake.

I am not a mind eader.

You might wanna check your memory consumption. Probably running full (maybe even on swap) and the system crashes :boom:

You can also compile in any other machine and then use the esphome node with ha :bulb::

did u find any anything about it? I have the same issue

Had the same issue for like forever on 1G pi4, added 2G of swap to hassos and all is well.

ich habe das gleiche Problem, mein gesammtes System ist aktuell (pi3)
gibt es eine Lösung?
kennst du das Problem genauer?
