O and if you dont want to show the port names in the screenshot (totally understanable) you can quickly go to the config, select row 3 none, take the screen shot, and put back
Yes, but these switches do not report PoE power usage per port so that didn’t work. Using snmpwalk I found the single aggregate power figure for all PoE ports combined, hence the custom field.
I have four switches in continuous use, but here’s a combined screenshot of three of them together:
Yes, please join the Discussion section on github for this.
You can also add your type to the list of working switches.
Great to hear, much appreciated@
Also happy to announce the integrated card issue is fixed. From now on the integration is the only repository needed. You can install switch-port-card-pro from hacs and the card is installed automatically and registered automatically.
Thanks everyone for all their help, also in improving the auto port detection. Happy to say these switches are reported to working perfectly:
My goal: the protocol wizard to support any popular protocol where you can create entities at will run-time, plus explore the devices to find what you need.
How can I show the PoE Power Usage per Port? I have set up the integration successfully, the card is shown with all ports showing Portspeed and if PoE is ON or OFF.
But I can’t show the power consumption per port, even though my switch (TP-Link Omada SG2428LP) does show the power consumption in a MIB Browser (OID is “.1.3.6.1.4.1.11863.6.56.1.1.2.1.1.7”) and it is configured in the configuration of the device in the device manager in the field “PoE-Power OID (per Port in mW)”.
