Complete SNMP integration with card available

Wow, thanks for leaving a note that it works for you

Did you try to use POE field in the config (and give it your OID)? (there is a POE field in the config so it does not have to be the custom field?)

Happy that also port detection worked out of the box for all these 3 switches!

IF all 3 switches are powered on, you can see all 3 at once in the dasbhoard. Would love to see a screen shot of that

Personally i dont show the bandwidth gauge as my switch never has so much to do that it shows actually something there

Thanks again for leaving a note, much appreciated (and a star on my repository would also be very welcomed)

O and if you dont want to show the port names in the screenshot (totally understanable) you can quickly go to the config, select row 3 none, take the screen shot, and put back

Yes, but these switches do not report PoE power usage per port so that didn’t work. Using snmpwalk I found the single aggregate power figure for all PoE ports combined, hence the custom field.

I have four switches in continuous use, but here’s a combined screenshot of three of them together:

Awesome! Well, that is why I introduced the customer field(s). Nice it all works, made my day

Great work, much appreciated! I have a HPE J9773A 24 Poe switch, are you interested in the OID’s for this switch?

Yes, please join the Discussion section on github for this.
You can also add your type to the list of working switches.
Great to hear, much appreciated@

Also happy to announce the integrated card issue is fixed. From now on the integration is the only repository needed. You can install switch-port-card-pro from hacs and the card is installed automatically and registered automatically.
Thanks everyone for all their help, also in improving the auto port detection. Happy to say these switches are reported to working perfectly:

  • Asus merlin on RTX 88U-pro
  • Cisco SG-200 18 port
  • Cisco CBS250 24T-4X switch
  • Cisco WS-C3850-24XU
  • HP ProCurve 2000 series (2810-24G)
  • HPE J9773A 24 POE
  • Netgear 724T, Netgear GS516TP, Netgear GS110TPv2, Netgear GS110TPv3
  • tp-link Omada SG3428X-M2, 24x2.5G + 4x10G SFP
  • Ubiquity EdgeSwitch 24 PoE (250W)
  • Unifi USW-48 Port POE switch

We are close to a 1.0.0 release!

For all that like the SPCP (Switch-Port_card-Pro).

I have created GitHub - partach/protocol_wizard: The Protocol Wizard helps you build your home assistant devices without need for any yaml!
Pretty proud if it…
It supports SNMP exploration and creation of and entity you want run time. (no YAML required).
It also support Modbus as protocol in the same way.

My goal: the protocol wizard to support any popular protocol where you can create entities at will run-time, plus explore the devices to find what you need.

Let me know what you think!
