Complicated automation: turn_off if working for at least X time over at least Y Watt

Hey, I’m being friendly! :slightly_smiling_face:

I wasn’t even going to tell the “ninja” that his automation sucked until he called me out and then he wouldn’t let it go.

Dude, I’m not sure what got you into this mood but I didn’t do or say anything to you until you got crappy.

I’m honestly still waiting for you to show me where my solution is overkill.

If I’m missing something maybe I can learn something.

Hey, you are a friendly guy AND I consider you a friend.
It just that given the English skills of the OP it doesn’t always come across that way.
Distinguishing ‘banter’ from ‘flame-war’ is sometimes difficult.
I have learnt that some of our more venerable members come across as clinical because ‘a sense of humour’ can be interpreted as ‘smart ass’ - it’s a difficult line to tread and as I’m not that ‘PC’, I’d go with the joke almost every time.

Petro has publicly stated “I can be an ass sometimes” I agree, and so can we all. It doesn’t detract from the value of his contribution and that this forum would be a lot poorer for his absence.

@ninjadog 's efforts were very good, but ‘maybe’ pitched slightly off for this thread, again its difficult to judge.

  :+1:
