Component Request: Wiegand Reader

Hi guys,

I would like to make a request for someone that knows how to give a go at making a Wiegand protocol component, it could be used to hook up many types of RFID readers, from cheap to commercial.

Currently my Wiegand esp is the only one that I haven’t been able to move over to ESPHome!

I’m willing to post whoever can do it a few wall mountable touch screens? :thinking:

Hi, i tried gdoerr custom component on a esp32 but it doesn’t work. Same wiegand reader works on an arduino nano.
