This is a Home Assistant add-on + custom integration (the addon auto install “ConEd Connect” integration) that connects to a Con Edison account and brings utility account data into Home Assistant. The goal is to make ConEd billing and usage information easier to track from inside HA instead of constantly checking the ConEd website. Inspiration for making said addon/integration combo; Living with roommate/relative who contribute to a shared bill this addon makes it easy for all payees to track bills as it scrapes full bill pdf into the addon and runs various metrics on them, you can track kwh cost in real time & get both tts & actionable notification for important account updates. If you dont have roommates then this is still useful for bringing in more info into HA from ConEd which Opower alone cannot do.
