ConBee II + Kingspan USB boot drive

I am fairly new to HA and run a Raspberry PI4 with SD card and Conbee II Zigbee.
After having a SDcard go bad on me I have recovered with new SD card and restored from backup.

I thought change to boot to 240GB Kingspan USB drive. I have got the RPI4 configured to boot from USB, go the USB restored from backup and it started with no issues.
Now the problem: It cannot see any Zigbee device and has managed to screw up my 2.4G wifi channels.
If use from SD card everything is OK, but use from USB it becomes un-usable.

Can anyone give be any ideas on how to investigate and fix this Zigbee issue?
(Both Conbee II and USB drive on USB3 RPI4 USB sockets)

Thanks in advance

USB drive or SD card is the same.
They generally rely on the same chip type and same write cycle.

Put your zigbee coordinator on a USB 2.0 extension cable away from your raspberry pi.

Your USB 3.0 drive is causing 2.4GHz interference which you weren’t getting before when using an SD card. Another solution I’ve heard is to plug your zigbee coordinator into a USB 2.0 slot however the extension cable method is the more recommended.

Good intel paper on this whole thing:

Thanks I will give this a go and report back
