Conbee II Stick - deCONZ - but ZHA discovered

Hi all,

I recently received a Conbee II stick and wanted to get rid of most of my zigbee gateways.

Unfortunately I haven’t played around with it before, only watched some Youtube videos.
What I thought would be the process was to plug in the USB, which I did on my Intel NUC, and then install deCONZ via the Official Add-ons. But before I came to that part, I saw under my Integrations that the ZHA immediately popped up when the USB was plugged in.
I did click configure, but not more than that.

My question is, should I have done that in order to start adding things through deCONZ (not installed yet) or should I have left that part and just install deCONZ and map the USB under the configuration tab of deCONZ when installed?

Thanks

If you want to use ZHA your did what needs to be done,
If you want to use deconz you’ll need to remove that integration and setup Deconz instead.

Personally I use Zigbee2MQTT and neither of the other two. But the short version is only one zigbee integration can drive one zigbee coordinator (stick)

you have to pick which one you want to use.

Thanks man. That is all I need to know. I was just unsure whether it was needed in order for the other things to work.

I have not decided anything yet. I have a few bulbs, sensors, repeaters and also buttons I want to test with. Then I can try those 3 solutions.
