Conditional card not working

It is my understanding that if I build a conditional card that when there is a state mis-match that the card should disappear. Mine is not going away…
Card config:

type: conditional
conditions:
  - entity: timer.bathroom_motion_long
    state_not: idle
card:
  type: entities
  entities:
    - entity: timer.bathroom_motion_long

When the timer is idle, I still see the card.

Another question, once it works can it include multiple conditions and multiple entities that appear and disappear from the card?

Ok, it works with a single entry. I needed “” around idle. But, if I add a second timer that is not running at the same time the card never appears. So the conditions appear to be anded. Working to find a way around this.

So, this can now be ignored completely. Further searching shows that the conditions cannot be or’ed only and’ed.

This is working for a single timer:
