Configure Backup HTTP URL for local access

Many times HTTPS stops working, so I need a backup local URL. This also stopped working. When I configure a local URL, I get this error message;

Invalid local network URL
You have configured an HTTPS certificate in Home Assistant. This means that your internal URL needs to be set to a domain covered by the certificate.

How are you suppose to setup a local fall back method? This used to work.

You can still access your local instance at any time despite the warning.

Go to httpS://yourIP:8123 in your browser. Click through the warning (in chrome, click advanced > proceed [unsafe]).

You’ll be redirected to the http version of the site and get a certificate error in the address bar, but it’ll work just fine

I tried replacing my certificate. Did something wrong, there was no way it would accept any connection. The installation was ‘bricked’.

Not on any port combination/https/http/accepting Certificate warnings.

I had to go via console.
