I have a Sonoff Orb dimmer switch (ORB-ZBDIM) that i have successfully connect directly to home assistant via my Zigbee hub. I can control the light via the switch and home assistant as expected.
What I am struggling with is setting the min and max brightness values and the percentage change values for the physical switch. I am trying to avoid using the eWeLink app (ug, another app…) and I believe that I should be able to do it in home assistant. If i go into the device on HA, I can ‘Manage Zigbee device’ which should allow be to change the settings on the switch itself.
I can change the cluster to ‘LevelControl’ and within there I can see the attributes I think I need (max_level, min_level and default_move_rate). If I hit ‘Read Attribute’ the value comes back as ‘None’ I can set my own value and ‘Write Attribute’ but that does not seem to save. If I try to write a value to ‘Manufacture code override’ I get an error. Any ideas? Thanks
