Configuring Modbus-Integration for Remeha Qinta Ace gas heating device

Yes, my temp sensor falls back to 0 continuously as well. It does not impact the heat pump operations as far as i have noticed

@klacol hi man, great job! i need just an information about modbus parameters…i installed GTW-08 interface and i’m reading data throught modbus integration. I managed to get all the parameters i need but i can’t get a switch to enable DHW (domestic hot water) boost mode…do you got that modbus registry? thanks and happy new year

Can anybody tell me what the value is from the resistance on the connector X1 on the GTW-08? I’ve ordered an GTW-08, but does not have that connector with resistance, but an other cable with 2 connectors.

Same here, got 2 similar cable harnesses.
No end connector.
Did you resolve this?

EDIT: found it! It was mixed with the mounting clips (inside the bag).

I had the same, it was in the bag with the clips. But the resistance is 120 ohm, and I believe only used at the end of the cable.

But I wanted to use a Waveshare RS232/485 to wifi eth (b), but don’t get the configuration right. The configuration is different than the screenshots above in this topic, those are other Waveshare devices (mine is black with blue printings).
Can somebody help me a little with the configuration of this device?

I haven’t gotten yet to install all the components, but I’ll also use the waveshare PoE version.

I believe the configuration should be similar.

Post some screenshots of the Waveshare config, as well as the hardware wiring.

Personally the configuration setup is a little bit strange for me. I’ve configured the device partly.

My iot network is in 172.19.20.0/24, and I had configured the device in my DHCP server on it’s MAC address, but that I couldn’t configure, the gateway is 172.19.20.100? That should be 172.19.20.254. I think the Waveshare itself is DHCP server, which should not, only DHCP client device.
So I tried on static, 172.19.20.70. 172.19.1.0/24 is my normal network.






AP Setting is to configure an access point created by Waveshare.
So that’s definitely the wrong setting. Deactivate altogether.

Under Quick Configure, select the right mode.
Not sure what STA stands for, maybe share a screenshot of all options?
Either way, that would be the right place to have the Waveshare connect to your iot wifi.

Under Quick Configure, the other setting is AP Mode, where the device is function as an AP, which I don’t want of course. It has to connect to my iot wifi:

This weekend I’m going to test the Waveshare in my heatpump.

STA mode stands for “station mode”. The device is capable to handel AT commands like a modem.

I made an custom integration for the Brötje BLW heatpumps. But in theory it should work as well for all systems from the Remeha Group using a GTW08 modbus gateway.
