Connect Aqara W100 with E1Thermostat without Aqara Hub

So I‘m using Home Assistant with a zigbee coordinator. All my E1 Thermostats are connected via zigbee also my new W100 Panel. Is there a way to link them without using the Aqara app?

You can perhaps try to bind them together by selecting proper clusters. In Z2M, select the device, and bind tab.

Hi Maximilian

How did you setup the W100 without the Aqara Hub? I am using the same configuration. Home Assistant, Conbee III dongle and try to connect the W100, but it seems, that this device only connects via thread and needs to be flashed with a new firmware to connect via zigbee.

Best regards
Marc

Welcome @glaeser-online-prog!

So in the end i bought the Aqara M100 for like 30 Bucks. There you can change to zigbee. I then connected all my Thermostats and Temperature sensors to that hub and exposed it to home assistant via the Home Bridge Integration. Its not the best solution but works better instead of waiting for community integration. If you see this post later on, please check if there is already a integration by ZHA or zigbeeTomqtt
