Connecting brand new philips hue bulbs

I have installed the zha integration and found a couple of zigbee devices, but not the 2 brand new, never connected philips hue bulbs. - What do i have to do to connect hue bulbs without the hue bridge? According to the zigbee2mqtt project the bulb is supported, and i presume that the latest version of HA has the zigbee2mqtt code integrated… - Am i wrong in any of this?

zha and zigbee2mqtt are 2 totally different things. Zigbee2mqtt has support for a lot more devices than zha.

Does zigbee2mqtt include mqtt or doi have to install it too?

If you want to use zigbee2mqtt, you need to install mqtt too.

In the config for zigbee2mqtt stands:

I have tried to save it without the >- but when i look later, its back, so is >- neccessary?

It is not necessary, but it is the way YAML deals with multi line keys.
