Connecting Google Nest with Home Assistant

I have a google nest present at my room , and my home assistant server both connected to same local network
MY USE CASE
Control my device connected with home assistant and are not matter enabled i have devices with wemos d1 mini , esp32 , node mcu boards and a few more

Problem
Now since google actions is deprecated
Nabu Casa Subscription for india is costly

All i need is a full proof solution to achieve my use case

Your suggestions will me automate my small room

Support expose to Google Assistant without nabu casa cloud

Currently, exposing entities to Google Assistant from the UI is only supported when using Google Assistant through subscription to Nabu Casa Cloud. If there’s any technical hindrance to make it work with manual Google Assistant setups, I would like to know what they are, so they can be identified and solved. But to me, it just looks like some features of HA are starting to be paywalled behind their subscription model.

Is SSL needed for google home local fulfillment?

I have recently installed Home Assistant, and I am looking to use my nest mini to control HA. Currently have nothing related to google set up on my HA and the docs are quite confusing to me.
