Connecting my Yale Linus® L2 Lite smart lock to home assistant

Hi,
I just installed a Yale Linus® L2 Lite smart lock, and I would like to connect it to HA.
I tried via the Yale integration: I successfully installed it, linked to my Yale account but… what now? I cannot see anything.

I also tried via Matter, but I couldn’t link it; note that I’m not even sure if I have Matter. I installed the Matter server on HA, but I don’t have any Matter device (I usually use Zigbee via my Home Assistant ZBT-2 dongle).

What would be the best way to use Yale locks?

Sorry to ask again, but what can I do? Did I misunderstand the way Matter devices work?

I have the (non-lite) Linus L2 , which worked like a charm with matter, but broke after an HA upgrade

Just as a small update, the lock still doesn’t connect, but I reached out to Yale Tech support (NL) and they seem quite keen to get this resolved. So anyone strugling I would suggest to drop them a note through their website.
Currently I’m a bit to inundated in other projects, so less time now.
