Connection refused

I have flashed Home Assistant to the eMMC of my Odroid N2. The Odroid is cable connected to my ASUS RT-AX88U Pro router. HA boots okay. I get an IP address, which I can see in my router as Homeassistant. I can ping: homeassistant, Homeassistant.local and by :8123.
However every attempt to reach http://192.168.50.41:8123 gives connection refused. I can reach the supervisor on http://192.168.50.41:4357.

I’m in the processor of reinstalling HA that ran for years with this router. I at loss about the cause of the refused connection.
Please help this geriatric user

Have you tried to access homeassistant.local:8123 ?

And also connect a monitor/keyboard to your Odroid, and check i.e core Log

Beside as you use http, make sure your Browser is not the “bad-guy” refusing you to access http:

Try install the mobile app, and from other browsers/devices, also check in your browsers if there is a “note-crossed” to the left of the url, which you can click to allow to access http

Yes, I tried home assistant.local:8123 … no connection. I ofcourse have the HA app as previous HA user, but also no connection, not by automated search and not by manually selecting http://192.168.50.41:8123

There’s a big difference between “no connection” VS “Connection Refused” , try to confirm/proceed with my other suggestions , as a connection refused(browser error) can be caused by multiple “issues” , from Your Browser to your Router and HA-Device

It is also significant to note how quickly it fails.

The equivalent of the difference between asking a question and getting an immediate refusal to answer, vs asking a question and getting a long silence and no reply.
