I have two networks at home. The ISP supplied network 192.168.40.x and my own network 10.0.1.x. The 10.0.1 network router is configured on 192.168.40.2 and port forwards 8123 to 10.0.1.40 (the HA server). From safari on an ipad I can connect to HA at 192.168.40.2:8123 when the ipad is connected to either of the two networks - the port forward works from both networks. But from the companion app it seems I need to create a two server entries, one for each network, and activate the appropriate entry to connect to the HA server. That is - the port forwarded address does not connect to HA unless the iPad is connected to the 192.168.40 network.
Any ideas on how to configure the HA companion app to make it function the way the safari connection works?
