@stefdewilde
do you still have your outsourced CP modules?
This mostly depends on the wires you have in your walls.
For me changing a CP20 (4Relays) with a shelly 4PM is not possible because the wires runing from my CP20 to the wallswitches are very thin (telefonline wires) and they do not support the 240V current which the shelly sents to the wall-switches.
If you have normal electrical wires like 1.5 mm2 or even 0,75 mm2 running to the wall-switches, it should be possible to change for shellys
Hi luxyluxe
- Do you use this solution with HA?
- Do you have CP or XP modules
- Do you need to have the gateway module to send the signals to the bus? Or does an ESP do the job?
Greetings,
IĀ“m Arjan from the Netherlands. IĀ“m very happy tho find out that there is a group thread about the Conson concept 2000 CP. I just bought a house with this domotica system. The house /system is from 2001. It looks like that all the modules are working fine, but some of the switches are broken by wear. Are the switches āsmartā? Do the need programming or can I just replace them by new switches?
Is that switch with 4 buttons?
No, 5 buttons The white one is also a button. There is a small circuit board inside. I think it is just a frame for the buttons, but Iām not sure.
Here you can buy them.

I used to have Conson, but I didnāt have those switches.
What I read is that changing to normal switch wonāt work because they are connect with the bus system. So every button is programmed inside the conson system.
In my case every button had a separate cable.
I think these switches are the same. What I can see now is that every button has a seperate wire. I think the cable is a 5-wire telephone wire, which runs from the switch to the module.
I understand that every wire is programmed in the system, but my question is if the swiches are progammed/installed in the system. I was thinking if the switch just give a signal/puls to the module, that means that they are not āsmartā switches which need to be programmed. so I can just change the switches with the same kind. I have ordered the switches on the Consonshop, So I will try to replace them.
Keep you updated.
Yeah, my switches worked like that. But if you read the documentation itās a bus system.
Normally itās one GND and than 4 wires that go to a CP20 or CP20.
