I received a free energy bridge from Consumers Energy (Western part of Michigan) and I am curious how to integrate it into HA. When I poked around in the app I see a setting for Smart Meter and under that is ZigBee information with a Mac Address and an Install Code. Then under Connected Devices I see a reset your Z-Wave network and Enter Exclusion Mode. So is it Z-Wave or ZigBee or something else entirely? Has anyone else dealt with this from their own electric company? I have started manually documenting different utilities and their power usage but I would like to be able to do more than just look at what my utility provides in their app.
