Update. I fried mine by trying to update the firmware on the radar. It looks like the code I wrote to emulate what the Windows application does, just doesn’t work properly, and now the device is sleeping with the fishes.
I’m never buying an application or a device again that requires shitty mystery meat Windows software to do any sort of meaningful updates to the device. That was a mistake to begin with, and I’m not committing that mistake again.
