How can I build automation so that when the voice assistant asks me a question or there is a continuation of a conversation, I won’t have to use any wake words, but I can answer directly and actually have a continuous conversation.
That’s already part of the default assist pipeline. If your agent finishes a query with a question (mark) it should just work…
So it doesn’t work for me for some reason.
It’s important to note that I have a regular microphone/speaker that is connected directly to the home assistant’s computer and is operated by the assist microphone and openWakeWord extensions.
I believe it’s part of the assist satellite and companion app.
See if it does it on the companion app if it works there it’s your hardware.

So it works for me, but with the voice assistant I have to say the wake word to talk again, there is no flow of the conversation.
