It might not be related but since 2025.4.1 I keep on getting continual dashboard updated prompts on the default overview dashboard. It seems to pop up every 30 sec or so I also notice that it sometimes resets itself to the default order and unhides hidden areas until I hit the refresh button, then it goes back to how I have it configured. Anyone have any ideas on where I can look for this one or what could be triggering it?
btw. this is happening on both my iPhone (ha app) and Safari on Mac
The native apps are also based on browsers, but they are skinned.
I do not know what the iOS embedded browser is called, since I do not use iOS devices, but on Android it is called Goggle WebView.
Okay.
I knew it was based on Safari, but not that the name was the same.
Google WebView is based on Chromium, like Google Chrome, so it is basically a skinned Google Chrome.
We would have seen thousand of posts on the forum by now then, if it was a general issue.
It might be related to iOS, but there should then be some other thing in combination with it tø keep the number of incidents down.
The fact that it shows another dashboard with a setup that is not your current suggest that it is a browser cache issue.
But it’s also not isolated to one person. At least three instances of the same issue and 2025.4 hasn’t been out that long and it looks like the change was only introduced in 2025.4.1 which has been out even less time and many don’t update to the point releases unless it fixes a specific issue.
There must be some combination of things going on here that’s causing it. It’s just a very annoying popup and I never had an issue prior to 2025.4.
I haven’t had any weird dash issues. Just this annoying popup. It can happen on any page I’m viewing within HA. Even an add-on interface.
That is a good bet.
If the daylight saving in the system for AUS does not match the real world, then you would get the issue you describe.
Have AUS changed daylight saving times recently?
Sometimes real world changes can take time to get implemented in computer systems, so if politicians have moved the daylight saving dates, then it might be it.
