Hello,

I am totally new to HA and I really appreciate your Work and in general your documentation. I could fix some problems on my own… But now I need YOUR HELP…

I use an Alexa Echo for Music-Streaming… So I use BT-Speakers which are connected to the ECHO. So I want to control the MEDIA-Volume from Alexa via HA. Is that possible? If yes could you explain to me how I can control the Volume of Alexa within HA…

Because I want to use an Zigbee-Remote for the Volume of Alexa…

There is a custom component to include alexa devices as media_player within HA:

this is how it looks like:

Using this component you are able to control the volume via service media_player.volume_set / media_player.volume_up / media_player.volume_down

So the last part needed is an automation where you connect the zigbee input of your control to a corresponding media player.

Great! I will try it. I can handle quite well with the automation-Stuff… I already have a lot of them… I will post here again if I know if the component works.
