I want to automate my roller shades, but I’m looking for a “cheap” solution. In total I have 11 roller shades on ground floor and 10 on upper floor…
My initial idea was to buy some tubular motors from AliExpress and connect them to smart ZigBee switches.
I’ve bought 1 tubular motor to test, but it seems to be a DC motor with only 2 wires (switch direction of current to switch blind direction).
Does anyone know an affordable smart switch that is compatibel with a DC motor? Preferably ZigBee compatible. Or an diy solution (link to tutorial or guide)?
