Hi! I’m using the PulseAudio Loopback switch to connect a pulseaudio source to a sink on a remote raspberry pi (I have it connecting a record player preamp to a HifiBerry Amp2).
Does anyone know of a way I could control the pulseaudio source or sink volume from Home Assistant? Perhaps via a third party addon or somehow using the audio plugin which has pulse running?
I am currently looking for the same. I used this integration 4 years ago before I moved.
I just got it set up again today for my whole home audio solution. This is next on my list to find a way to control each sink volume.
Note if you are using MPD as a source then you can control that out of the box with the MPD integration. But I’d rather control each room’s (sink) volume separately.
Good day. Have either of you discovered anything on this? I’m considering the same as I will have sinks receiving AES67 streams from potentially different locations and I would like to control the volume of the speakers connected to the sinks.
@mweber88 I’m afraid not. I eventually ditched my raspberry pi / snapcast based whole home audio setup and switched to sonos (that’s going great). best of luck.
