Control Shelly shutter by height and position?

Hi,

I have a bunch of Shellys attached to various blinds and a (KNX) weather station that allows for controlling these blinds by current sun azimut and elevation, i. e. blinds should adjust to a certain height and position.

Setting up the automation, I was expecting to be able to write corresponding values right into Shelly parameters, but these don't seem to be exposed by the Shelly integration.

Hence my question is if I'm missing a point here or if I really need to find a workaround of e. g. sending appropriate curl requests to the devices to control the required parameters?

Hi there,

Shelly uses KNX Routing, so you’ll need a KNX IP Router (a KNX IP Interface isn’t sufficient). Connect some group addresses to the datapoints of your weather station. Make sure you also use a KNX IP Dummy for the Shelly (you need to connect your used group addresses there) in the ETS so the filter tables will be set automatically. Then, go to Shelly’s web interface, enable the KNX Integration, and set the same group addresses. Shellys starting Gen3 are compatible.
