Anyone know of a controllable audio preamp that can take analog in and have the volume controlled by HA (using a media player) that can go to an outboard amp?
A Rpi setup would also be valid, but a ready made unit would be best.

Oh also, must have minimal delay (so a pure preamp is what Im looking for) as it will be used with a TV headphone OP jack, so a Sonos or bluetooth wont work.
Optical/SPDIF would be a real bonus

A headphone out is possibly the worst quality.
