Controlling lights and blinds

Good evening,

I’m currently building a house, and my goal is to control the spotlights and LED strip lights (off, on, intensity and temperature) as well as the blinds (open and close) in a first phase. In my research, for the lights I had thought of push-button switches and for the blinds “normal” switches, with Shelly Dimmer 2 and Shelly 2.5 or Shelly 2PM inside the switches, to control everything via the home assistant. However, when I explained the situation to the company responsible for the electricity (they weren’t chosen by me, they’re subcontracted by the builder), they questioned my “plan” and are recommending that I opt for a solution from Efapel or Legrand, which already has everything built in and according to them has a lot of experience in these installations.

For the garage door, they recommended using Shelly 1PM.

Given this scenario, what do you recommend for my case, given what I intend to do? I’m open to all suggestions. I envisioned the whole solution with pressure switches, what do you think?

Thank you.

I dont know if these can be controlled with home assistant but there is a solution for Legrand when you google it. Bu that one is cloud based, so I would not go with that.

Shellys should be perfectly fine and installable by any electritian. Ask them what would be wrong with them and what products Efapel or Legrand have and which interfaces they have for local control and if they work without cloud access.

An addition from me: If you can, dont use Wifi Smart Home products. Matter, Z-Wave or Zigbee are more reliable and 99% can be controlled locally with the normal protocol. They also use less power and dont use bandwith of your wifi
