Hi Everyone! Did anyone attempted to automate their air duct valves? The valves controllable by motors are available for purchase however expensive and require costly installation. My idea is re-use the existing valve and make it even more accurate and predictable, while allowing control from HomeAssistant. This is the work in progress, at this time I stuck with implementing PWM for servo motor control, Using XIAO ESP32-S3 module. The existing publication did not help me so far.Hi Everyone! The picture shows its simple but effective implementation, The servo motor is directly attached to the duct and connected to the valve lever with steel wire. The servo motor is powered by 5 Volt source, along with ESP32-C3, the later also provides PWM signal to program the valve position.
