(Corruption?) EXT4-fs (sda8): Delayed block allocation failed for inode 24 at logical offset 94 with max blocks 1 with error 117

Hi all,

I have Home assistant on virtual box (used the VDI from here)

Ive been using it for a few months now and its been great but i started noticing that some addons couldn’t be started (e.g. motionEye, Node-RED, etc.) and i was getting the following error:
500 Server Error: Internal Server Error (“structure needs cleaning: unknown”)

Every time i tried to start any of these addons i was also getting the following errors in the OS logs:

EXT4-fs (sda8): Delayed block allocation failed for inode 24 at logical offset 94 with max blocks 1 with error 117

With my VERY limited (to non-existent) knowledge with linux i run the following command to find the corrupted folder:
find / -inum 24 -print
result: /sys/bus/platform/drivers

What can i do from here? Searching for weeks on the internet for a solution lead me nowhere…
Running fsck /dev/sda8 i get the following:
fsck (busybox 1.31.1)
fsck: fsck.auto: No such file or directory

Is the fsck command not included in the Home assistant OS?

I have also moved the entire VM to a new disk to try an resolve this but im getting the same errors, so i suppose its not a hardware issue.

The problem seems to be on addons only as everything else seems to be working fine in Home assistant.

Can i some how get a clean copy of the /sys/bus/platform/drivers folder?

Any help appreciated.
