Could not config Homematic IP (Local)

Hello,

I tried several things to install Homematic IP (Local) from scratch.
I used a x64 hardware and I used a Rasberry Pi4. Setting up a complete new system, installing ssh terminal extension, then HACS and after that downloading the latest Homematic IP (local) extension (it is described very good int he net). Everytime I want to add and configure this extension the system hangs with the dialog: Please wait, configuration assistant is starting…
After some minutes this is displayed: 500 Internal Server Error Server got itself in trouble.
The extension is not installed.

All versions are the latest ones (OS, HACS and Homematic IP Local. When I did this last year everything worked fine. But after some updates the system was not working anymore. So I decided to start over…

Can anybody direct me in the right direction? What am I doing wrong?

Matthias

Hi, welcome to the forum!

Have you seen these official integrations: Integrations - Home Assistant

Yes of course. I have some reasons to Go with the inofficial one

Ok, just checking and noticed that there is no version in the default HACS.
Maybe it’s not bad to share which custom integration you are using.

I added a Custom reposirory From Git. There are several How Tos on the Internet. I an mentioned That it worked just a year ago.
The git hub Link is GitHub - SukramJ/custom_homematic: Custom Home Assistant Component for HomeMatic

You do realize what has changed in 1y time with HA and all the different modules that you are using to make this work.

Apparently there are more reports with this integration not working anymore.
You could check with the creator(s) of that integration.
