Not sure if this is a z-wave issue or not, but I created an automation to notify via notify. service for opening, open, closing, and closed. Sometimes I get notification and others I don’t. What I’ve noticed is in Logbook it sometimes says the “Garage Door was opening” and that is when it seems to work but others it just goes straight to “Garage Door was opened”. What is causing not all states to get logged? As a temporary fix I’ll just remove the closing and opening and maybe I’ll get consistent notifications.
