Create a binary sensor that doesnt turn of

I’ve created a sensor like this:

binary_sensor:
  - platform: template
    sensors:
      lightlivingroom:
        value_template: "{{ states('sensor.ljus_vardagsrum') | int > 80000 }}"
        entity_id: sensor.ljus_vardagsrum

It turns on like it should, but it also turns off when the value from “‘sensor.ljus_vardagsrum’” goes below 80000 again. I don’t want that, I want the switch to be on until I set it of myself. How do I do that?

Why don’t you use a input boolean?

Try or:ing the new result with the previous result (state of the switch). Since if the previous value was 0, the new value will be used. If the previous value was one, then the new value doesn’t matter and the switch will remain on.

Ok… I’m not so good at Hass yet. How do I do, how should the code look?
